ULTRASONIC TEETH CLEANING

image.jpg

Dental problems are very common to animals. Even attentive pet owners often miss the fact that their pet suffers from painful diseases of the teeth. Even dogs are often affected by tartar and painful gingivitis. Animals cannot communicate when they are plagued by severe toothache. Therefor preventative care is a must. The dental care of the dog should be as important to you as your own. Poor mouth hygiene cannot only affect the teeth but also major organs. At Millie's Paws we offer two ultrasonic teeth cleaning systems - Cleany Teeth & Emmipet. We are trained & certified in this service we offer.

SOUNDLESSLY CLEANING WITHOUT FEAR

Dogs and cats are very sensitive to sounds. Our teeth cleaning systems completely without vibration and beeping with 100% ultrasound.

NO OFFENSIVE BREATH

The causes of mouth odour are various, but mostly it is due to bacteria that bring the oral flora in imbalance and thus cause breath odour. Eliminate bacteria with the help of 100% ultrasound.

FOR DOGS AND CATS

Tartar is a common problem of dogs and cats diagnosed in the veterinary practice. Increased calculus formation can also lead to other health problems, our ultrasonic toothbrush helps to remove the tartar.

SOFT TO THE GUMS

The tartar contains large amounts of bacteria that can lead to gingivitis and tooth loss, and also cause permanently damage to the heart and other organs. With the silent and no brush movements  you can proceed gently against it.

MOTION-FREE CLEANING

Our teeth cleaning systems work with 100% ultrasound. The effective oral hygiene without brush movements.

HEALTHY TEETH FOR A LIFTIME

Just like humans, our pets need good hygiene in their mouths. Only then will the teeth and mouth of your pets stay healthy even at old age. If teeth are healthy and the gums are not, even a healthy tooth can loosen and fall out.

EXTENSIVE PROPHYLAXIS

Studies on gingivitis show that 3 months after  professional tooth cleaning, tartar is coming back again. Even if you brush your teeth every day this is unavoidable.

PRECAUTION INSTEAD OF GENERAL ANAESTHESIA

With regular use of the ultrasonic toothbrush, no anesthesia is needed. Of course, this depends on how far the tooth is already affected by tartar.

Vibration free without brushing

The soft bristles are held against the teeth/gums allowing your pet's teeth to be cleaned gently without the irritation of vibration or noise.

Tom Holroyd recommends Millie's Paws Grooming Studio.

I have been taking my little dog Missy (shitzu/yorkie) for grooming and teeth cleaning for a while now. Missy doesn't like being groomed and I know can be difficult but Donna does a great job and she always comes back super soft and looking great. her teeth are sooooo much better and her breath doesn't almost kill an elephant any more so I cannot thank enough.

Initial consultation lasting approx 40 minutes £40. Follow up treatments lasting approx 40 minutes £30. Consultation will allow us to guide you with a teeth cleaning plan, how many sessions might be required to start with & the regularity required after we have removed plaque etc.

We recommend not going over 8 weeks once the teeth have been cleaned, to avoid build up returning. The consultation price of £40 will be applicable for dogs whom we have not seen for 8 or more weeks.

For optimum results weekly visits are recommended, less frequents visits are likely to be less effective but will encourage good mouth hygiene.

The consultation fee will be reduced to £15 if your dog is not an ideal candidate for the treatment i.e will not let us perform the process safely.

Teeth cleaning can be booked with grooming sessions.

PLEASE NOTE - IF YOUR DOG'S TEETH ARE SIGNIFICANTLY SCALED, WE WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU SEEK VETERINARY ATTENTION INITIALLY FOR A DENTAL DESCALE UNDER ANAESTHETIC, THEN CONTINUE WITH A REGULAR PROGRAMME OF ULTRASOUND TEETH CLEANING TO MAINTAIN YOUR DOG'S HEALTH.
